Contruction Features
Cast iron single stage spiral body complying with DIN-EN 733 (formerly DIN 24255), seal holder cover and cast iron motor support, flanges complying with DIN 2533 (DIN 2532 for DN 200). Cast iron impeller, closed and dynamically balanced, with compensation of the axial thrust through balancing holes, operation on interchangeable wear rings (on request). Stainless steel pump shaft supported by two permanently lubricated oversized ball bearings, housed inside an appropriate chamber in the support. Standard seal device: standardised mechanical seal according to DIN 24960 in carbon/silicon carbide with EPDM OR rings. Packing with lubricating hydraulic ring and stuffing box in two easily removable parts available on request.

HYDRAULIC SECTION
1 - 2 - 3 KVC vertical axis multistage electric pump; galvanised steel metal sheet base; AISI 304 STAINLESS STEEL suction and delivery manifold (1 KVC without suction manifold); 1 - 2 - 3 membrane tanks; ball valves with unions at the suction and the delivery of each pump; check valve with unions at the suction of each pump; 1 1/4" are supply connections at the suction of each pump; 2 stainless steel female plugs for closing the manifolds; axial gauge with isolator valve; galvanised steel electric control panel support.
ELECTRICAL SECTION

  1. KVC SET
    Single phase version. 1 2-pole pressure switch connected to the electric pump, with power input plug. Three phase version. Remote motor protector control panel with reset pushbutton, 1 2-pole pressure switch connected to the electric pump.
  2. KVC SET
    IP 55 protection class self-extinguishing, shock-resistant plastic electric control panel. The control panel protects the electric pumps and controls the sequence, keeping the system at a pressure value already preset at the factory. The average pressure value may be changed using a trimmer found inside the control panel. The pump starting order is switched at each operating cycle. The pressure is measured through a pressure transmitter on the delivery manifold.
  3. KVC SET
    IP 55 protection class self-extinguishing, shock-resistant plastic electric control panel. The control panel includes the general switch, the electric pump protection thermal magnetic circuit breakers, the electric pump start order switch system, 24 V low voltage circuit for the control of the pressure switches, MAN-0-AUT selectors. (Operation pushbuttons for single phase control panel), notification lamps at the front of the panel. Installed on appropriate support on the pump base. Three pump start/stop pre-calibrated pressure switches. The electric control panel of 2 KVC and 3 KVC sets is ready for the connection of:
    Dry run protection float or pressure switch kit (*).
    Overpressure stop pressure switch kit (*).

The UNI EN 12845 sets have been designed and built to meet the needs of automatic fixed sprinkler or hydrant fire-fighting systems, in order to detect the presence of a fire, and extinguish it with water during the initial stages, or to control the flames, so that the fire may be extinguished with other means.

Pump for circulating hot water in small closed and pressurised or open tank civil and industrial community heating systems. Cast iron body and wet rotor motor. Die-cast aluminium motor casing.Flanged inlet and delivery mouths, fitted with threaded unions for pressure gauges. Technopolymer impeller, tempered stainless steel driving shaft. Stainless steel protective rotor sleeve and stator sleeve. Four pole asynchronous motor for the BMH and DMH versions, two pole motor for the BPH and DPH versions. The Single-phase circulator has been designed to work at three speeds - 230V, while the Three-phase circulator has been designed to work at two speeds - 230 V and at three speeds - 400 V. Thermal overload protection incorporated in the single-phase version. For the three-phase version the motor must be connected to the power supply through an external contactor. An automatic clapet type valve is incorporated into the delivery mouth of the twin version in order to prevent water from recirculating while the unit is not working; a blank flange is also supplied standard if one of the two motors must be serviced. Construction Features
Single body consisting of the cast iron hydraulic section, and the wet rotor motor. Aluminium motor casing. Flanged suction and delivery ports with threaded connectors for control manometers. Technopolymer impeller, tempered stainless steel motor shaft on graphite bushings lubricated by the pumped liquid. Stainless steel rotor protection liner and stator liner. Ceramic thrust ring, ethylenepropylene seal rings, and brass air breather plug. Asynchronous four-pole motor for the BMH and DMH versions, two poles for the BPH and DPH versions. The single-phase circulator has been designed for three-speed operation at 230 V, while the three-phase circulator has been designed for two-speed operation at 230 V, and 3-speed operation at 400 V. In both cases, the speed is adjusted through a special selector in the terminal box, in order to adapt the operation of the circulator to the characteristics of the system. Built-in thermal protection in the single-phase version. For the three-phase version, the motor must be connected to the power input using an external contactor. The contactor must be connected to the thermal protection built in the motor, in order to protect it from overload at all speeds.

The twin version features an automatic swing check valve incorporated in the delivery port, to avoid water recirculating through the unit when this is not running; in addition, a blank flange is also supplied as standard, to allow either of the two motors to be removed for servicing.

Applications
The K-HA single impeller centrifugal pump is designed for boosting water pressures in houses and apartments (domestic properties), in order to provide additional pressure to hot and cold water taps and similar outlet points. The K-HA centrifugal pump is mainly intended for use in open vented systems(tanks), but may also be installed directly on the incoming water mains supply feeding a boiler, subject to the approval of the local Water Authority. The pump incorporates a flow switch that starts and stops the pump in line with the flow, when a tap is opened or closed. The pump is supplied with a 0,3 meter power cable.

Construction Features
Pump body and motor support in cast iron. PN 10 flanged suction and delivery ports with threaded holes for control manometers. To make replacement in existing systems easier, the pump can accept PN 6 counter flanges. Technopolymer impeller.

Carbon/ceramic mechanical seal. The pumps are available both in the single (KLME-KLPE) and in the twin (DKLME-DKLPE) versions. For the single version a built in clapet valve in the delivery port is also included, to avoid water recirculation when the unit is idle. A blind flange is also supplied as a standard, to be used during maintenance of one of the two motors. The twin version gives the possibility of alternating the operation of the pumps when a backup unit is required, or to have the two pumps operating simultaneously.

Construction Features
Single body consisting of the cast iron hydraulic section and the wet rotor motor. Die-cast aluminium motor casing. Technopolymer impeller. Tempered stainless steel motor shaft on graphite bushings lubricated by the pumped liquid. Stainless steel rotor liner, stator liner and closing flange. Ceramic thrust ring, silicon seal rings, and brass air breather plug. The wet rotor asynchronous two-pole motor is protected as far as resistance, and does not require overload protection.
